Is it possible to prioritise personal finance and the planet? We believe so. Shopping does not have to carry a high price tag for you or our planet. That is why we started Global Sustainable Markets.

Zero Waste

The world is struggling with a $2.3 trillion problem of excess retail inventory, returns and overstocks.

About one third of this ends up in landfill. This is both wasteful and damaging for our planet.

We scour the global clearance markets for the best product deals so that we can sell on to our customers and prolong the lifecycle of goods.

Carbon Negative

From the start of our company, Global Sustainable Markets (GSM), we adopted a policy of going beyond carbon neutrality by doubling down on all our emissions.

So, for every metric tonne of CO2e of emissions, we put in place initiatives to remove two metric tonnes.

Goal 13: Climate Action

Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impact

Goal 15: Life on Land

Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss

Goal 8: Decent work & economic growth

Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all

Goal 12: Responsible consumption & production

Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns

Who do we work with?

We are working with One Tree Planted, a tree planting, non-profit enterprise from the US. We have planted 165 trees already and plan to plant another 10,000 in 2022 as we build our customer base in the US and EU.

Our own seed bank

We are also the first global business to partner with Terraformation, which restores native forests globally. A Terraformation seed bank is being built and delivered to our GSM Euro launch site in Germany.
